Job Description

Job Purpose

We have requirements for Data Consultants to work as part of Vetasi’s implementation team to manage the Asset and PPM data

Preparation of Asset and PPM data for bulk data loads into Maximo

  • Carry out updates to Asset Data using Access, Excel and SQL Scripts
  • Carry out data manipulation and data cleansing
  • To work closely with colleagues and clients to co-ordinate the planning of PPMs
  • Act as focal point for data queries
  • Analyse the data and provide management with advice and recommendations
  • Ad-Hoc tasks set by the Engagement Manager

Technical competencies

  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Excel to Macro/VBA Level
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Knowledge of SQL Scripting, prior use of TOAD, SQL Plus would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of data manipulation and data cleansing techniques
  • Experience with CMMS Systems, prior knowledge of MAXIMO would be a great advantage
  • Working knowledge of efficient and effective working practices
  • Good analytical and planning skills

Capabilities

  • Working knowledge of asset management systems, MAXIMO would be an advantage
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal at all levels, both with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work on own initiative, whilst adhering to a framework of set procedures
  • Effective team member with a "can do" and customer focused attitude
  • Good time management and organisational skills to work within deadlines
  • Versatile and adaptable with the ability to react to changing customer and business requirements
