Vetasi has considerable experience of Enterprise Work and Asset Management within the UK Water Industry. That combined with our unrivalled skills with IBM Maximo; make us the leading supplier of EAM solutions into the UK Water industry. The last two UK Water companies who have gone to the market have both selected Maximo as their product of choice and Vetasi as their Services Partner.
The Vetasi Utilities Template Solutions (VUTS)
The Vetasi Utilities Template Solutions (VUTS) allows water companies to deploy a Maximo Asset Management system which addresses the service level agreements set by the regulators at a lower price point, providing the integration, process management and reporting required by the regulators. This solution opens up the tier 2 water company market place and provides a 90% out of the box solution. Water companies can now address the complexity of regulatory reporting, improve customer service, and gain efficiencies in their engineering department which ultimately have a positive effect on their financial performance.
Water companies deploying the VUTS will benefit from reduced time to implement and reduced costs which will in turn bring an enhanced return on investment.
Vetasi is delighted that IBM recognises the added value VUTS brings to the Maximo product suite. More importantly, it gives Utility Organisations a solution with shorter implementation time frames, lower risk and at a more attractive price point.
In 2008 South East Water merged with Mid Kent Water and selected Maximo as their Enterprise Work and Asset Solution to manage the combined organisation. Vetasi, working with South East Water, successfully implemented the system for Above Ground Assets (Production) in 4 months. The implementation for Below Ground Assets (Distribution) was completed within 12. Supported by Vetasi SEW are now rolling out Maximo Spatial integration with their in house GIS during 2011.The current plan is to achieve full integration with GIS before the end of 2011. This will deliver extensive functionality for the management and integration of Spatial and Work Order related data on a single platform.
In 2009, South Staffordshire Water went out to tender for a new EAM solution. Vetasi was selected as their implementation partner of choice using the Maximo EAM solution. The Production phase of the project was implemented within 4 months and the Distribution phase is on target for a launch early in 2011. SSW have undertaken to include the full Spatial integration as part of this second Distribution phase. SSW will then have a GIS platform fully integrated with the Maximo Spatial system allowing the creation of Work Orders from Spatial data and enhanced management capability of Maximo core data from within the GIS.
We believe that combining the world leading EAM solution Maximo with our in depth understand of the UK Water industry uniquely positions Vetasi to maximise the returns on investment while minimising the risks.
