South African Mine

In 2012, a South African mine decided to take over the outsourced operation and maintenance of the concentrate plant from the contractor. They decided to invest in IBM Maximo as the new Enterprise Asset Management system covering Asset, Maintenance, Inventory and Procurement Management. Vetasi assisted with a fast-track switch over from legacy systems to IBM Maximo within 4 weeks, utilising Vetasi’s Mining build for Maximo. In 2019 they then enhanced the mine business solutions to the latest technologies available.
