Event start date: 23rd September 2015
IBM is hosting an executive briefing on The Internet of Things – from hype to insight on Wednesday 23rd September, which promises to offer a fascinating insight into how your organisation could harness the power of the Internet of Things (the integrated fabric of sensors, devices, data connections, processes and people).
The event, which is taking place in London, will consider how 90% of all information gathered by data generating devices is never analysed or acted upon; when it could be used to gain real business insight to improve operational performance, asset life cycle management and the delivery of products and services.
Case studies illustrating how businesses are using the Internet of Things to their advantage will be included, as well as live demonstrations showing data capture and analytics in action.
The event is aimed primarily at all types of manufacturers, however, it should also be of great interest to companies in retail, travel and transport, and energy and utilities industries.
The Internet of Things – from hype to Insight is being held at Prince Phillip House, The Royal Academy of Engineering from 2pm to 6.30pm and finishes with drinks and canapés.
