Our clients, Rachel Dunn and Andy Miller of Heathrow Airport, will be presenting on the Maximo 7.5 Upgrade at this year’s @IBMInterConnect. This Upgrade was completed in 2014 by @Vetasi, working alongside Capgemini, and is considered to be one of the most successful IT system implementations in the airport’s history.
After starting an IT upgrade from Maximo 5.2 to 7.5, Heathrow realised that to unlock the full potential of the new system to inform good EAM decision-making, they needed a wider program of business change and data transformation. Changing the structure of this project, they established focused work streams on data and business change, as well as the delivery of an IT system.
This presentation entitled ‘Delivering a successful Maximo upgrade at Heathrow Airport took more than just technology’, will explain how Heathrow structured the work streams and key activities within them, and what made their implementation such a success.
