Enterprise work and asset management experts Vetasi Ltd (Vetasi) has boosted its international network with the opening of a new office for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Based in Warsaw, Poland, the new division will be led by Managing Director, Jarosław Łukasiewicz, who previously headed up the Key Enterprises Unit of the region’s largest IT consultancy, Asseco Poland S.A, with support from Consulting Director, Robert Zientara, a highly experienced EAM consultant who joins from IBM GBS.
The move follows the rapid expansion of Vetasi’s operations since the company’s launch in 2005, as Group Managing Director, James Prior, explains: “Over the years we’ve worked across every single continent and have built up one of the largest, most highly skilled teams of international EAM consultants in the marketplace.
“Our expansion into Eastern Europe is a natural progression of this, building on the success of our first UK office and the subsequent launch of our African division in 2009. Furthermore, the expansion of the Vetasi footprint better aligns us with the blue chip multi-national clients we support,” he adds.
With more than 15 years’ experience working at senior level in the IT sector, Jarosław says that the new division will be focusing on the utility, rail and Facilities Management industries initially.
He said: “Currently, there is a lack of expertise amongst EAM companies in the Polish market, which has created a sizeable opportunity. This will be our focus in the first year, alongside pursuing new business across CEE. In addition we shall be providing further skills and experience from the Polish team into the Vetasi Group pool of consultants.”
James adds: “We are delighted to welcome Jarosław and Robert to the team. This is a great opportunity for Vetasi to launch in a growing market and offer its work and asset management expertise to a completely new set of businesses.
“As a gateway to the whole of Central and Eastern Europe, Poland gives us an excellent base from which to expand in the future, as well as providing us with a superb pool of talent for our other markets.”
