We are delighted to team up with our clients to announce the formation of a new Maximo focussed interest group for the water industry. The group will include Affinity Water, South East Water, and South Staffordshire Water, alongside other companies with an interest in the water industry, such as Kier MG.
The group’s inaugural meeting will take place on Thursday 26th March in Oxfordshire. The agenda will include presentations from attending companies, as well as round table discussions on industry best practice and the innovative use of asset management software. This day-long session will be followed by a drinks reception and an evening meal.
Vetasi will facilitate the event and cover the costs of the hotel and refreshments, including one night’s accommodation for attendees on the evening of the event.
Organiser and Vetasi Engagement Manager, Bernie Kane explains: “We’ve formed this working party in conjunction with our clients from the water industry. Currently, there aren’t any forums where they can actively meet other water companies and discuss asset management related issues and share industry best practice. This is exactly what we are aiming to facilitate through this group.
“Although we will be organising the event, the topics of the day are ultimately determined by the companies attending, so they will very much be in the driving seat.”
The potential agenda items for the event are still being reviewed, but include:
- Vision and possibilities for the Water Working Party
- Effect of Wholesale and Retail business partitioning
- AMP6 challenges
- Effect of Totex approach to expenditure and how Maximo can help
- Project lessons learned
