What made you choose the Vetasi Graduate scheme?

After graduating from university, I was looking for a role that would be challenging and able to offer a varied working life. When I was offered to join the graduate scheme with Vetasi, I was drawn in by the opportunities for future growth, such as the Maximo training. The offer to work with Vetasi, the highly qualified staff and wide range of clients, was just what I was looking for in a career.

What are you hoping to achieve during the scheme?

I am hoping to be able to gain a high understanding of Maximo, and to be able to develop my skills and understanding into a practice. I am also hoping to develop good working relationships with everyone at Vetasi so I can learn from their experience with Maximo and within the industry as a whole.

What are your first impressions of Vetasi during your first week?

During my first week at Vetasi I have felt welcomed by the Vetasi team. The people I have met so far, have been more than happy to talk to me about their experiences within Vetasi and have offered help if we need it in the future. I have been impressed with the team working ethic and everyone seems to have taken this view to a high standard with daily communication throughout the company.

Odain Henry

Odain just recently graduated from the University of the West of England where he studied Forensic Computing and Security. He describes himself as a very organised individual, with a strong personality which enables him to get along with new individuals.

What made you choose the Vetasi Graduate scheme?

I felt this graduate scheme was one of the best choice available, as it enables me to gain experience in the field which I have studied. Furthermore, this scheme allows me to meet new people and experience a new environment where I can blossom and find the right role for myself as I grow older.

What are you hoping to achieve during the scheme?

My goal during the scheme is to gain the required training and knowledge needed to enable me to help Vetasi in the future. I’m at the start of my working journey, I have a long way to go and I hope that I can learn a lot by working for Vetasi, by meeting new Individuals, gaining more experience relating to all the different fields linked to Maximo.

What are your first impressions of Vetasi during your first week?

My first impression of Vetasi during my first week is how relaxed and approachable every member of the team who I have met are. Furthermore, how engaging they are with me and the other graduates, by speaking to us more about the company and their own experience in the field. My final Impression of Vetasi during this week is how dedicated all the members of the team are to their task, and they enjoy doing it which I feel is the best recipe for a successful environment to work in.

Stanislav Shvetsov

Stanislav has lived in Bristol since he was 5 and attended BCCS (Bristol Cathedral Choir School) through my GCSE and A-Level years before undertaking a 3 year BSc computer science course at the University of Manchester.

What made you choose the Vetasi Graduate scheme?

I chose the Vetasi training scheme for several reasons. I found the Maximo product fascinating and appreciated the fact that it would allow me to apply the technical skills I acquired at university to a vast variety of industries. Additionally, the other reason was the variety in the work I would end up doing as a Maximo consultant, as the job would entail me to undertake both technical work on the Maximo product and also hands-on work with clients out in the field. This in particular was something that appealed to me.

What are you hoping to achieve during the scheme?

During this scheme, I hope to find out a lot more about the ins and outs of the Maximo product and get familiar with operating the latest release, as well as discover and familiarise myself with the technologies used in its implementation. I also hope to study the business side of the job, including client interaction, on-site visits and in general the whole process that happens from the moment a client places a request to Vetasi for a particular service.

What are your first impressions of Vetasi during your first week?

My first impressions of Vetasi have been extremely positive. I am starting to gain a basic understanding of the huge scope of the product itself, and the possibilities of what Maximo can achieve for a business. The organisation within the company is excellent - all of the administration is well structured and has been made clear to me from the start. I am also getting on well with the other two graduates. I am excited to get deeper into the training scheme and discover and learn more.
