Vetasi AFRICA today announced various appointments in its IBM Maximo reseller, implementation and support provider business.
Paul Bester (B Eng) PR Eng, joined our Maximo sales team and will work with sales director Trevor Roberts and operation director Bouke Spoelstra to focus on the areas of mining And transportation asset management. Paul will also take responsibility for our business partner relationships in East Africa. Paul is an experienced Industrial engineer with years of exposure to physical asset management in the Military and Transportation fields as well as to IT projects on all levels of the industry.
IBM Maximo Implementation & Consulting
Well known Maximo specialists, Sarel Delport, Gavin Barbier, and Werner Horn with a combined Maximo and asset management experience of over 20 Years, joined Vetasi Africa as consultants and is already involved in projects across Africa and the UK. Pieter Joubert (B Eng Industrial) , joined Vetasi with a strong military maintenance planning and analysis back-ground, and have completed his Maximo certifications over the past three months. This enables him to plough back his maintenance analysis and support process knowledge into every Maximo project that he is part of.
IBM MAXIMO SUPPORT
The Vetasi Maximo support desk is unique as it integrates a team of Maximo support experts based in the UK and Africa making use of web and cloud technologies. This allows us to combine local knowledge while sharing the experience of supporting more than 40 customer instances of Maximo in the UK and Africa. In February the Vetasi support organisation recruited Shani Koekemoer, who has more than 7 years of experience supporting Maximo across Africa and in April Braam du Plooy, who will focus on supplying expert support to all our Maximo Spatial customers. Braam, a registered GIS practitioner, will focus on the processes and solutions where asset management and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) interact to provide spatially integrated Physical Asset Management.
