Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) experts, Vetasi, has replaced Salisbury Group’s four legacy systems with a brand new solution using IBM Maximo and workforce management software Cognito iQ work force solution.

Called APEX, the system provides a single platform that Salisbury say will lead to greater cost efficiencies, allowing for faster reporting, proactive maintenance, and support cost savings.

Because IBM Maximo gives each employee a customized view of asset management data, our people can often generate the reports they require at the touch of a button—eliminating the need for support from IT or external consultants,” he said.

“On top of that, by replacing four separate systems with a single platform, we have cut our support costs by 40 per cent.”

The new system uses IBM Maximo Asset Management, IBM Maximo Asset Management Scheduler and IBM Maximo Health, Safety and Environment Manager. The solution gives each employee a customized view of asset management data, allowing staff to generate the reports they require at the touch of a button—eliminating the need for support from IT or external consultants.
