Bouke Spoelstra joins Vetasi Africa as new Operations Director

The Board of Directors at Vetasi welcomes as Operations Director for Vetasi Africa.  Bouke will add  tremendous depth to our African operations with  25 years of engineering experience which includes 12 years of Maximo engagements on all levels.

Bouke will be responsible for services sales and project management of Vetasi projects in  Africa.

Prior to joining Vetasi, Bouke was manager of the Strategic Asset Management Division at Powertech IST which included IBM Tivoli Products and related mobile solutions.  In that role he supervised a 15 year Maximo sales and implementation legacy, which included significant Maximo implementations such as Eskom Distribution.

In addition to his skills in managing the Maximo business Bouke brings a wealth of experience in reliability engineering, coding, cataloguing and general engineering in the manufacturing, mining and power generation fields.

In his role as operations director for Africa, Bouke wants to expand Vetasi’s footprint in Africa and build on the Vetasi solution focus of solving customer challenges, delivering value and life long solution support.  Bouke aims to continue on Vetasi’s excellent track record of delivering succesfull Maximo projects and lead with innovation in the utilities, water, manufacturing and Oil & Gas sectors

Bouke will focus on building out the already excellent relationships that Vetasi have with its customers and bringing the broad experience of our UK team into projects in Africa to leverage on our existing knowledge base and in-depth Maximo experience.
